Top Note LAVENDER OF VAUCLUSE: Lavender is primarily a floral and coumarin note with a woody tone. The essence is extracted by steam distilling the freshly cut flowers. Its mysterious, sensual facets unfurl as the top note of Dior Homme. Heart Note TUSCAN IRIS ABSOLUTE: Iris absolute is one of the most precious elements of the perfumer's palette. Its extraction is a very long and delicate process. The rhizome must first be dried for at least three years. Its powdery scent reveals its woody facets, bringing to mind the reassuring aroma of warm bread as a heart note in Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. Base Note HAITIAN VETIVER: The vetiver is originally from India and Indonesia but also grows in Haiti and Reunion Island. It is a perennial plant with fragrant roots. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. Its persistent accords are used in woody, chypre and oriental fragrances. Vetiver offers its refined boldness as the base note of Dior Homme.
