François Demachy was inspired by the black tea extract during his journey in India: a fresh, sophisticated and elegant note. The new fragrance, Escale à Pondichéry, is rich in natural essences coming from the Indian continent, selected by the Dior House for their superior quality: Cardamon essence, Sandalwood essence and Jasmine Sambac absolute. Classic and elegant, the emblematic bottle of 'Les Escales de Dior' is decorated with the signature embossed canework of Christian Dior Couture. FLORAL CITRUS Escale à Pondichéry Eau de Toilette is a floral citrus. Sweet, radiant and delicate freshness. Top Note ESSENCE OF CARDAMOME: Grown in India, Cambodia and Guatemala, cardamom is extracted by steam distillation. It harmonizes beautifully with black tea and essence of sandalwood, bringing freshness to Escale à Pondichéry. Heart Note BLACK TEA EXTRACT: Black tea is mainly grown in Asia and is differentiated from other families of tea due to the fermentation of its fresh leaves, giving them their dark color and bitter taste. The tea note adds spicy freshness to fragrances. Strong, delicate and addictive, tea is behind the freshness of Escale à Pondichéry. Base Note ESSENCE OF SANDALWOOD: Sandalwood mainly comes from India, where the best quality is found.
