Top Note ESSENCE OF CITRON: Grown in Italy and Corsica since Roman times, this large fruit from the citron tree resembles a lemon. Its peel is rough, and its greenish-yellow flesh contains little juice but is highly fragrant. Essence of citron is obtained through expression, lavishing all of its freshness on Escale à Portofino. Heart Note BITTER ALMOND: Indigenous to Sicily and southern Italy, almonds have been popular since the most ancient civilizations. The fruit brings a touch of sweetness to the citrus freshness of Escale à Portofino. Base Note ORANGE BLOSSOM: The flowers of the bitter orange tree are extracted to obtain orange blossom absolute. The essence of orange blossom or essence of neroli is extracted by distillation. The sheer delicateness of the orange blossom is found in Escale à Portofino.
