The perfume of harmony. Samsara is a very sensual version of seduction, for a distinguished, radiant and generous woman who has found harmony and balance, which is notably conveyed through the composition's raw materials. Jasmine and sandalwood are sacred essences, the perfumes of temples and the gods. Powdery and vanilla notes magnify this harmonious union. It was at the Musée Guimet in Paris, a renowned museum for Asian art, that Robert Granai found inspiration for creating the shape of Samsara. The bottle is flamboyant red, a sacred color, which evokes through the fullness of its shape a statue of a Khmer dancer. The stopper echoes the shape of the eye of the Buddha, a symbol of meditation, which leads the way to detachment, supreme awakening and Nirvana. Fragrance Description. Woody Oriental Harmonious, spellbinding, embracing. Through its very sensual evocation of seduction, Samsara envelops its wearer with a spellbinding predominance of jasmine. Rose, narcissus and ylang-ylang embellish the fragrance, the better to unite it with the radiant and generous warmth of sandalwood. Lastly, iris, Tonka bean and vanilla harmonize and render this remarkable fragrance sublime. Perfumer's Secret. Perfume, which is also called an Extract, is the most concentrated and therefore the most faithful version of a perfume. Created to be in osmosis with the skin, an Extract creates a unique alchemy upon contact with the skin and expresses itself differently on every woman. A few drops applied on the inside of the wrists and elbows, at the base of the neck, at the roots of the hair or in the hollow of the décolleté will reveal their presence with the movements of their wearer and the passage of time without ever becoming overpowering.
