In my mind's eye, I kept seeing a hot iron moving back and forth on freshly washed linen. I finally distilled the image into a fragrance to get it out of my head. This complex maze creates an airway between the white blossom of fresh mint and a synthetic rendering of the natural scent. This Eau leaves one with the impression of having a cheek on a cotton pillowcase. Our Fragrance Expert says: 'It may seem a little out of character for Serge Lutens, the king of hedonistic orientalism, to release an anti-perfume, but if there's anything M. Lutens is good at it's a surprise, and L'Eau is exactly that.
