'I wanted to create a characteristic Cologne that was like a door-opener to its powerful accords. My aim was a gentle pull towards more abrupt notes.' François Demachy Sicilian Mandarin All Mediterranean countries grow mandarin trees, but the best quality mandarins are produced in Sicily. There are several varieties of mandarin: yellow, green and red. They correspond to the different stages of maturity of the fruit. Mandarin Essence is one of the citrus notes, and provides a tangy, refreshing touch. Amplified, fruity and mouthwatering, Mandarin ignites a desire to travel and creates sparkling top notes. Violet Violet leaves have a powerful and highly distinctive fragrance with green, botanical and slightly floral notes. The sensual scent of Violet is featured in the surprising heart note of Fahrenheit. Virginia Cedar Indigenous to the United States, Cedar Essence is extracted by steam distillation. Its refined, noble scent is used to deliver an invigorating, energizing tone to base notes. Virile and reassuring, Virginia Cedar is a powerfully enveloping blanket around the vibrant heart of Fahrenheit.
