It boasts natural antibacterial and disinfectant qualities and is frequently used to treat oily and problematic skin, while its effective decongestant abilities eases symptoms of cold and flu when used with a steam inhaler or diffuser. This cedarwood oil is extracted from a tree in the Cupressaceous family. The bark of the tree is steam distilled to release a wonderfully fresh and characteristically woody essential oil that harnesses the cedarwood's powerful characteristics.
