Its healing properties also lend a helping hand in the relief of stiff or painful muscles and joints after exercise, or after any muscular trauma. Add a few drops to a running bath for a soothing and restorative soak. Chamomile (Blue) or 'German chamomile' as it can sometimes be referred to, takes its name from the deep blue oil released as the plant flower heads are distilled.
